Great spot in downtown!
Loved how close we were to the church—super easy to find our way around! Rooms were simple but very clean, and sharing the bathroom turned out not to be a problem at all. Don’t miss the breakfast spread. fresh fruits and breads were delightful! Just be ready for some noise since it’s so central.

great location but shared bathroom challenges
The guest house exceeded our expectations during our stay. The room was spotless, and the views of the landmark were stunning! Being right opposite Halgrimskirke made sightseeing a breeze. The bus stop nearby made travel easy, allowing us to explore the area effortlessly.
The shared bathroom experience could be improved. it sometimes felt crowded.

We had an amazing stay, especially enjoying the breathtaking view of Hallgrímskirkja from our room. With four babies in tow, the spacious apartment was a game-changer, and the breakfast spread fueled our adventures. The staff were incredibly accommodating, even offering extra towels for the kids.
In my wife’s opinion, a play area or kids’ corner would be perfect.

Comfortable Stay in a Convenient Location
Our family enjoyed a delightful six-night stay. The proximity to the cathedral made navigation easy, and the breakfast spread included delicious homemade breads! Request an extra chair if traveling with family for added comfort. A plug in the washbasin would be a thoughtful touch!

The staff were incredibly helpful, but we did
experience some noise from the street at night. Overall, the guesthouse was a pleasant place to stay, conveniently located, and I enjoyed the geothermal hot water in the shower, which added a unique touch to my experience.

I enjoyed my stay at Guesthouse Sunna. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to Hallgrimskirkja cathedral and local restaurants. The room was clean and cozy, with a comfortable bed that made for great sleep. Staff helped me with an early check-in, which was a lifesaver after my long flight. I loved having a shared kitchen to prepare my meals. However, the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty at times, which was inconvenient. The bathroom setup felt cramped, especially during peak hours. The breakfast options were limited, mostly just cold items and hard-boiled eggs. Overall, it felt like good value for my stay.

It was just a balanced option for a weekend rest in Reykjavik with very good value for money. The location was great, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore. Just be aware that the bathroom lights can be a bit annoying during a shower due to the motion sensor.

The Basic Single Room was small but served its purpose since I was just there to sleep. Bed was comfy enough, which was great. Shared bathrooms were clean, and I barely saw anyone else, so I had no waiting at all. The kitchen was spotless and had everything I needed for quick meals. Check-in was easy even after hours, so that was a plus.
